The simulation evaluation is complete and we have completed the shortlisting procedure. Since we are proposing to announce the specific details of the evaluation, in partnership with the competitors, at a special session at OMAE 2019 in Glasgow, I’m precluded from giving specifics here, but let me say that the 3 shortlisted entries were all good and, in terms of the evaluation criterion (EC), were very close. In ‘normalised’ terms, the EC numbers were 1.0, 0.987 and 0.847, so it was pretty tight!
We will now work with the shortlisted competitors to get their code ready for the implementation stage. Individual contact is being made with shortlisted entrants to confirm their status!
