Biography
After obtaining his degree in mechatronics in 2016, Simon Thomas worked in the field of wave energy at Uppsala University, receiving a Licentitae degree in 2018. After a year as a software developer for mobile robotics, he rejoined ocean energy research in 2020 to commence his Ph.D. in control of wave energy converters at the Centre for Ocean Energy Research at Maynooth University.
