Biography
Markel is a student from the Basque Country, on an internship with COER until June 2024, working on his undergraduate engineering degree. Markel's final year project focuses on the development and control of an all-electric hardware-in-the-loop simulation environment for point absorber wave energy converters. Besides his academic pursuits, he has a strong passion for sports, particularly football. During his time in Ireland, Markel hopes to grow academically but also to immerse himself in the city's vibrant sports culture, with new experiences and self-discovery opportunities every day.
