Jost Kemper

Biography

Jost Kemper started studying Naval Architecture and Maritime Technology at the University of Applied Sciences Kiel (Germany) in 2013. Throughout his studies and numerous projects, he has specialized in fluid dynamics, hydrodynamic modelling and CFD. He has worked as a specialist for empirical performance prediction, software developer and wind tunnel researcher at Yacht Research Unit Kiel. For his outstanding academic performance, he receives a scholarship by the German Scholarship Foundation. In April 2018 Jost has joined COER as an Intern. He was carrying out research and writing his master thesis in the field of CFD modelling and the development of domain decomposed numerical solvers during his stay in COER.
