Biography
João Henriques was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). His main research interests include numerical and experimental modelling of wave energy converters, control of power take-off systems, aerodynamic design of self-rectifying air turbines, and CFD modelling. Presently is an Assistant Professor at IST.
