Biography

 

Christian Windt graduated from the University of Technology Hamburg as B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (2013) and M.Sc. Energy Systems (2015). He gained experience in the field of ocean wave energy conversion while working as an intern for Aquamarine Power at Queens University Belfast (2014) and during a visiting research program with CalWave Power Technologies at UC Berkeley, CA (2014/2015). Since December 2015 Christian is working on his PhD thesis at the Center for Ocean Energy Research (COER) at NUI Maynooth on high-fidelity numerical hydrodynamic modeling of Wave Energy Systems.
