Biography
Behnam received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering-Heat and Mass Transfer from IAUM in Mashhad, Iran, and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering- Energy Conversion from the Shahrood University of Technology in Shahrood, Iran. As a part of his bachelor's final project, he was working on a national project with Khorasan Razavi Building Engineering System Organization and Mashhad Municipality Fire and Safety Services Organization on a project entitled "Smoke Control Engineering in Buildings." At the graduate master level, his research focused on the application of soft computing in energy conversion physics and technology ranging from nanofluids to complex heat exchangers. Behnam joined COER as a Ph.D. student, and his work is focused on energy flexibility at district and city scales.
