Dr. Demián García-Violini

Biography

Dr. Demián García-Violini currently works with the Department of Science and Technology, National University of Quilmes (UNQ), Argentina. He is also an affiliate member of the Centre for Ocean Energy Research (COER ) at Maynooth University, Ireland.
Demián was a research fellow at COER from March 2018 to September 2019, sponsored by Science Foundation Ireland on a programme entitled "The next generation of controllers for wave energy converters". Before joining COER, Demián was a postdoctoral research at the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA), Argentina, from March 2016 to February 2018. He obtained his Doctoral degree in engineering (control) at the ITBA, in 2015. He graduated at the UNQ with a degree in engineering in Industrial Automation and Control in 2010.
