Jack studied Theoretical Physics at the University of Sussex and graduated in 2018. During his studies, he worked at the Physics department's outreach programme as well as teaching as part of the Physics International Summer School. Since graduating, Jack further developed his programming skills in Python and SQL by completing the Data Science Academy with Digital Futures, before embarking on an International Masters Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering. During his Masters, Jack specialised in marine renewable technologies such as offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy at Instituto Superior Tecnico in Lisbon. He is now undertaking a research internship at COER on the application of Fano Resonance in Wave Energy Converters.
