Biography
Barnabas holds a bachelors degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Ambrose Ali University in Nigeria, and a master's degree in Automation and Control systems engineering from Newcastle University, England, United Kingdom--2015. His master's degree thesis was focused on voltage stabilisation and control of an electricity grid that is rich with solar Photovoltaics.
Barnabas was working as a control systems and instrumentation design and operations engineer in the oil and gas sector for over 12 years with focus on rotating equipment. He joined COER in December 2023 to work on the Leap-Hi project, focusing on control co-design for ocean wave energy conversion.
