In 2017, Ariádne L. J. Bertolin  obtained her Electronic Control and Automatic Engineering Bsc degree title from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). At the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), she received her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering in the automation field. Her main research activities included stability analysis and control designing for linear and nonlinear systems, optimization algorithms, and semi-definite programming, mainly, based on LMIs.

In August 2023, Ariádne joined the Centre for Ocean Energy Research (COER) at NUI Maynooth as a postdoctoral researcher in the SFI-funded research program: "Simultaneous stabilization and wave energy harvesting for a floating offshore wind/wave platform."
